Here  are the answers to some questions that are frequently asked prior to a shoot.  Please feel free to contact me if you have a question that is not answered here.

Q: Where will our session be held?

A: Your photography session may take place at a variety of locations, at your home or office, a local park, urban setting or at my studio. We will discuss the desired look and setting prior to agreeing on a location.

Q: What can I expect during my photo session?

A: Head shots -- Once on location I will shot you in a variety of poses and settings. Depending on the location, you may be able to do a wardrobe change. I recommend at least one wardrobe change when possible. The session can take form 20 minutes to 2+ hours depending on your needs.

A: Family and group shots -- Once on location I will shoot you/your group in a variety poses and settings. I like to capture natural interactions and intimate moments, and also some posed shots. Depending on the location, you may be able to do a wardrobe change. The average session takes approximately 1 to 2 hours. More time may be needed for large groups. Special needs can be accommodated with notice.

Q: What should I wear?

A: Head shots -- Clothing choice is very important to the success of the session. Think about who will be viewing the image and what the purpose if the image is. You should feel comfortable in the clothes you wear. How you feel will come through in the shots. Bring at least one change of clothes. Your clothing should be pressed and neat, the camera will captures wrinkles. I am happy to help if you are still not clear on what to wear.

A: Family and group shots -- Clothing choice is very important to the success of the session. Textured clothing like a sweater or other woven fabric is a good choice. You may want to bring a change of clothes for yourself, and several for the young children. When selecting what to wear as a group, avoid dressing all the same; instead try staying in the same color palette i.e. all wear pastels or all primary colors. Also, when you are choosing style you should be similar i.e. all fancy or all casual. I am happy to help if you are still not clear on what to wear.

Q: What happens if we have chosen an outdoor location and there is bad weather on my scheduled day?

A: Cloudy days can be perfect for photographing. However, if the weather is too problematic the shoot will be rescheduled to the next mutually agreeable day.

Q:  When and how will I be able to view my photographs?

A: We will make an appointment to view the images together. Hard copy proofs are available upon request.

Q: How long does it take to get my photos once I order them?

A: The final delivery time of your images depends on what you order.

*Photo shoot tips

The night before your session try to get a good night sleep and drink plenty of water.

Press your clothing (wrinkles do show up!) and fix your hair and make up the way you like it. Of course I will edit the images to help you look your best but the end result will be better if we start form a good place!
